Yesterday we just told you about a rumor of a new tablet for Samsung and today this rumor has been confirmed.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) specs
The new tablet called Samsung Galaxy Tab 1 10.1 (2016) has a 10.1-inch display with 1,920×1,200 pixel resolution. The technology is Samsung’s own PLS (Plane to Line Switching), a variation of the popular IPS panels.
Far from a featherweight, at 525 grams, the 10-incher packs a sizable 7,300 mAh battery, larger than the cell inside the Tab S2 9.7 by around 1,500 mAh. The 8 and 2MP cams are also pretty great, if you’re into tablet photography, and the 16GB internal storage can easily be expanded via microSD with an additional 200 gigs.
An octa-core 1.6GHz processor churns, and even if it’s not mentioned explicitly in the press release, it more than likely means the Exynos 7870 with 8 Cortex-A53 cores. RAM is 2GB, and internal storage is 16GB.
